Karen runs the business and the rest of the family help out as required. Coming from a farming background Karen has always had a passion for animals. A busy mother of four, she has a B.Com majoring in information systems.
Husband Mark fits in the odd jobs and weekend cleaning around his full time job.
Tori (15 – cat specialist) and Jessica (13 – dog specialist) help with the cleaning in the holidays and weekends, as well as being part of the cuddle/play brigade.
Shannon (10) and Kobe (8) are strictly cuddles/ play only, and always look forward to their daily visits.
Works as full time manager at Canterbury Quarantine Services and will most likely be your first contact. Kate is a New Zealand veterinary nurse and enjoys all aspects of pet care. You can be sure your pet will enjoy all the attention and fun that Kate provides. Kate will assist you throughout the import process and during the quarantine period.
Works part time at Canterbury Quarantine Services and loves getting to know our guests and helping them to settle in. Any information you can give about your pets likes and dislikes can assist us to make them feel at home at our facility.
Lee also works part time at Canterbury Quarantine Services and really enjoys the challenge of helping our new arrivals settle in and making friends with lots of playtime and cuddles. Owning a rescue dog herself, Lee understands the patience and reassurance required to gain the trust of those pets who are a bit unsure of their new surroundings and people.
